We offer multiple licensing options to meet different usage scenarios.
Community Edition
Under the LGPL open-source license, you are free to use bkhtmltopdf — for personal, academic, open-source, or commercial projects.
If you modify and redistribute this library itself (rather than just use it), you must release your modifications under the same LGPL terms. For proprietary or static-linked distributions, consider obtaining a commercial license.
Evaluation Version
The evaluation version includes all features of the enterprise edition and is intended solely for testing purposes.
docker run --shm-size=256mb -it --rm -p 8080:8080 bkhtmltopdf/bkhtmltopdf-ee:latest
PDFs generated by the evaluation version contain watermarks and are strictly for testing purposes only. They must not be used in production environments.
Enterprise License
The Enterprise Edition offers additional exclusive features.
For more details, please visit: Enterprise Edition.
💡 Recommended: If your software will be distributed externally (including cloud deployment or customer installations), choose the Enterprise OEM license.

- From the date of purchase, you will receive 1 year of technical support and updates.
- After the maintenance period expires, continued support or updates require repurchasing the license.
- Maintenance includes: version upgrades, compatibility fixes, security updates, and priority support response.
